Things I made.... yesterday...

So there wasn't a whole lot of crocheting going on yesterday. I had a lot of errands to run, and chores that couldn't wait another day. With the time I did have I made this...



It's an EGGPLANT!! I've had this pattern for months and I finally got to it. It turned out really cute. I plan on making one for my cats. But I ran out of purple yarn. I'll have to wait until it comes in the mail.

I also made these:

I made these cute little Thank you cards to go inside my Etsy orders. I used up my last one yesterday so I whipped up a new batch. These were really simple to make. It only took me about a half hour!! I love the colored paper!! It has adhesive on the back!!! So I just cut, peel and stick!!! It's awesome!! And the phase "thank you" was a rubber stamp!! I had a lot of fun making these. I hope I use them up fast so I can make more!! :)

Waiting for this book to come in the mail... hopefully today...

Sale #5!!!

I'm glad to have the next 2 days off. I'm probably going to stay home and crochet. I need to add something new to my shop.

I made another sale on Thursday. A friend, wanted some robots so I made her some. I mailed them out today!!! These Robots won't be traveling far... about 75 miles.. That's sale #5!!!




Flowerpot Update:

2 out of the 3 pots have green stuff growing!!! I'm going to wait a couple more days to take pictures. I'm hoping they will be a little more visible. I think a squirrel got into the other pot. :( The dirt looks like little paws have been digging in it. I'm not sure if anything will come up....

A different kind of craft...

What?!?! A post that doesn't involve the word "crochet". Well I guess it does now. I've been taking a break from crocheting this week and I've been doing a whole lot of nothing. I couldn't even begin to tell you what I did this week. I've spent a LOT of time outdoors. Hanging out in my backyard, under my favorite maple tree, reading and listening to my favorite podcasts. It's been great. And I didn't get a sunburn!!

So today I bit the bullet and planted some flowers. Now don't laugh. I have no idea what I'm doing. This is an experiment. If I see any green stuff coming out of those pots I'm going to jump for joy. If I see any actual flowers... well... I might have a heart attack.

Rough week...

I've been feeling a little burnt out with my crocheting this week. I took yesterday off and it was nice. I'll have to do it more often. Otherwise I'm going to get to the point where I don't crochet for months!! And I don't want that! I'm going to try and work on something today. I'm almost done with the lion. I might add that tomorrow. I can't believe that tomorrow is Thursday already... that means it's back to work... ~sigh~

As of right now... I HAVE 100 PEOPLE THAT HEART MY SHOP!!! And that's cool!!! :)

Other Etsy news... I'm now shipping internationally!!

Sneak Peek...

I'm going to add these bears to my shop later today.

I have the next four days off, so you now what that means... I will be crocheting in overdrive. I'll have to go to the store and get a few more craft supplies. I'm thinking about getting eyes and noses for my animals...the plastic ones... hmm... still thinking about it. I think it would make them even cuter but then they won't be safe for pets or babies... hmmm..... well I might try it. It doesn't hurt to try, right??
