What?!?! A post that doesn't involve the word "crochet". Well I guess it does now. I've been taking a break from crocheting this week and I've been doing a whole lot of nothing. I couldn't even begin to tell you what I did this week. I've spent a LOT of time outdoors. Hanging out in my backyard, under my favorite maple tree, reading and listening to my favorite podcasts. It's been great. And I didn't get a sunburn!!
So today I bit the bullet and planted some flowers. Now don't laugh. I have no idea what I'm doing. This is an experiment. If I see any green stuff coming out of those pots I'm going to jump for joy. If I see any actual flowers... well... I might have a heart attack.
Here are the pots:
Here's what's in the pots:
I put some old colored pencils in the pots as labels for my flowers. That's all I had on hand.
And here is my hubby's craft project:
what is he doing??
ReplyDeleteI never, ever have any luck with seeds. I hate them... and I think they hate me.
Good luck with the seeds, just make sure they don't go too dry... thats all really, until you get some flowers :D Show us some progress pics, won't you? :)
ReplyDeleteAndrea- We've had some problems with water in our basement. Apparently the water wouldn't drain very well and we had a puddle in our front yard. Not cool. But all is well now... hopefully. I'm sorry that seeds hate you.. :(
ReplyDeleteTomatoTea- Thanks!! I'll keep you posted with progress pics!!! :)
I'm working on keeping an orchid alive, and the other day I got a dusty miller to go out on the balcony. I forgot to water the dusty miller, and it was a little sad for a day. But as soon as I watered it, it perked right up lol. Lets see how long I can keep that one alive. The orchid only needs water once a week lol.
