I've been crocheting like a busy bee!! I made some witch hats yesterday and I just love them! There just too cute!! I'm getting really excited about my new Halloween items!! Today I'm working on... EYEBALLS!!! I finally came up with a good pattern last night. It took me a few tries, but I got it!

Well I'm off to do some more crocheting!!

My New Car...

A Tribute to Big Red...

When life give you lemons, hopefully you have water and sugar.

In life news, I have to say good bye to my old and fateful friend, "Big Red" He was an awesome little burgundy car. We've traveled 41,000 miles together. He was my first car. He knows how bad I sing, what kind of colorful language comes out of my mouth, and has seen my middle finger more times than the normal human. I bought him in '02. He was born in 1995, which means I have had him about half of his life. I saved all my baby sitting money, and saved every penny I made working at McDonald's to buy him. And it took about 3 years to do it. He was with me at graduation, prom, my wedding, my first apartment, my second apartment, and my first house. We've had some good times together, and some bad times too. Good bye Big Red, you will be sorely missed.

Big Red had a injury on Friday the 14th. This injury is going to cost more money than we are willing to pay for. So off car shopping we go. We found a car, and are getting closer to putting it in our garage. Possibly tomorrow.


In crafty news, You might have noticed not many "new" items going in my esty shop recently. Well to tell you the truth, I've been gearing up for Halloween. The word "Halloween" might make a few of you gag, but I've been making things like crazy! So please be patient with me. I am still crocheting like a madwoman. I plan on adding my Halloween items in September.

I'm still getting ready for Halloween. I've been crocheting like a madwoman this past month. I can't wait to add some of these spooky items to my shop!! I have a lot of ideas swarming around in my head, but not a lot of time to create them. I wish there was more time in the day!

TODAY IS MY 26TH BIRTHDAY!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Last day...

I have one more day off, then it's back to work. Ugh. But I miss my work buddies. And it will be nice to get out of the house. It's going to be another busy weekend with work, and a party on Sunday.

I thought I would get a lot accomplished this week, but I didn't. Lots of stuff to do, laundry that's needs to be done, cleaning, and errands. Not a lot of time to crochet. Bummer. Hopefully today I can make something, or at least start making something. I still need to finish my mom's birthday present, knitted dishcloths. I have one more to make and about 10 more rows left on the dishcloth that is currently on my knitting needles.

Next week is another busy week. My birthday is on Monday. My mom's birthday is on Thursday. We are planning on a craft day. She going to teach me how to sew curtains. I need new curtains in my kitchen. I can't find any curtains in the store that I like. So that should be fun. Then on Saturday it's my husband and I wedding anniversary!! 6 YEARS!! We will be going out to dinner.Also my friends daughter is having a birthday party (turning 1). So that will be fun.

Hopefully sometime next week I will find time to pick up a crochet hook, and some yarn.

I've also been walking more. I take walks in the morning by myself, and then I take another walk in the evenings with the hubby. I really enjoy the morning walks.

Speaking of that... I'm off to take a walk... and day dream about new crochet projects!!

Summer is Here!!

Where I live, this summer has been really sad. The air conditioner has gone through days without running. I'm hoping that with this "cooler" summer, we will have a "warmer" winter. Well, that's what I'm hoping for. For the past 2 days now, it's above 90.

I've been crocheting like a madwomen these past couple of days. I'm working on some cool spooky Halloween items. I'm really excited about these. I would love to put them in my shop now, but they will have to wait.

"Good things come to those you wait..."

Other than that life has been really good. And the summer has gone by way to fast, like it usually does. Vacations, Family Reunions, weddings, and birthday parties. Phew... I'm surprised that I can find time to make my amigurumi creations!

My birthday is coming up... Next Monday August 17th, I will be turning 26. I have mixed feelings about this. But I'm going to enjoy it!! I will be hanging out with my cats, drinking a cappuccino, and crocheting all day! In the evening, my wonderful hubby will take to out to dinner.

YIPPEE!!!

Not a lot of crocheting going on around here. My wrists have been acting up again, hurting like crazy. When my wrists aren't hurting, I'm working on my mom's birthday present. Knitted dish cloths. I have one more to make. Her Birthday is on Aug. 20th. I have plenty of time to finish it.

Earlier this week I started making some Halloween items. I'm very excited about. I can't wait to add them to my shop!
