A Game of Thrones

George R.R. Martin

I've decided to jump on the band wagon and start to read the game of thrones series. So far, so good. But man, are these books LONG. Also, I feel like I need to take notes. There are so many characters to keep straight. But I'm sure it will be worth the read. 

After I'm done reading this book, I will start watching the series on HBO. Or shall I say, rent the discs from Netflix.

So far I'm 6% done. I really wish the version I bought for my kindle had page numbers. 

Current Project...

Since my etsy shop has been slow this year, I've decided to make some blankets for charity. I will be donating some blankets to the Project Linus foundation in my area. It feels good to use my crafty skills for those that are in need. Plus, I have WAY too many blankets in my house, and I have run out of people to make them for gifts. So this is a win-win situation. Here are a couple pictures of some blankets that I have finished/ are working on. 

The blue blanket is the one I'm working on now. I'm over half done. I would love to finish it this weekend. The green on is done and ready to go! I would like to make one more blanket before I ship it to it's destination!

Conversations with Chloe...

Here is a conversation I had with my 2 year old daughter this morning.

Chloe: "Go to post office?"

Me: "Nope, Not today."

Chloe: "Mommy didn't sell anything."

This was so funny and sad at the same time.
