Baby weight, and losing it...

I hop on the scale once a week. It sounds painful, but it's not. It actually helps me.

With my first pregnancy I was huge, like 200 pounds huge. I took a vow, that after this baby comes I going to loose wait. This was back in 2010. It was rough. I have good days and bad days.

But around the summer of 2011, I lost all my baby weight, plus an extra 40 pounds. I felt great. Then.... I got pregnant again. Now, I tried really hard not to gain that much weight. But I gained about 40 pounds. Sigh. So after I had my second baby, I made another vow. I must lose this baby weight.

I have 5 more pounds, and that will put me back to where I was when I got pregnant with baby #2. If I could loose a few more pounds that will be great. If I could lose 15 pounds that would be frickin awesome.

Now, with 2 little kids, finding time to work out is very difficult. All I can do is, walk, walk, walk. It's finally getting warm here, so I'm hoping the last few pounds will come off easily.

Measuring food portions is key. I had no idea how may serving I was eating until I started measuring my food. No wonder I was huge!

I love the myfitnesspal app for my phone, I can keep track of all my calories, water intake, and exercise. I truly believe this app helped me lose the weight, not once, but twice. Thank you myfitnesspal, you are the bomb.

Book I'm currently reading...

Victor Hugo

Yes, I'm attempting to tackle this monster of a book, 1,400 + page book. I bought a copy for my Kindle. And I'm glad I did. I bet it weighs a few pounds. The copy I bought doesn't have real page numbers it, and that bums me out a little. I started reading this book on April 19, 2013. Yes, I'm putting the year I started reading it, because I'm sure it's going to take me a year to read it. So far I'm 5% done. I wish I knew what page I was on. Now, I'm reading other books in between this book. Otherwise, I will never finish it. I'm also not giving myself a deadline. Wish me luck!

So hear goes nothing....

My 5 greatest pet peeves

My list of pet peeves is huge, but here are the top 5.

#5: People who don't use there blinkers. Really, people? They put them on vehicles for a reason. I can't read your mind, could you give me a heads up before you pull out in front of me?

#4: When people dog ear the pages in books. Is it that hard to find a scrap piece of paper? You're ruing the pages when you do this.

#3: People who spit out there gum on the sidewalk and/or parking lot.I always seem to find it and step in it. Why!? Why!?!?! WHY!!!! Here's a little advice to all the gum chewers out there. Save the wrapper, put it in your pocket. When your done with your gum, put it in your wrapper and throw it in the trash.

#2: When people don't keep their dogs on a leash. I'm not a fan of dogs. They jump on you, sniff your butt/genitals. And they bite. If you tell me, "Oh, don't worry, she doesn't bite." I will give you the hairy eyeball. Yeah, your dog never bit you, you feed him. I have two small kids. KEEP YOUR DOGS ON LEASHES PEOPLE!

And my #1 pet peeve is.....

#1: Not washing your hands after using the restroom. Ewwwww... Is it really that hard to wash your hands? It just really gross. Wash your hands people!!!

Natalie Marie...

Well Hi there. I wonder if anyone is reading this. I should scrap this blog and start over. But I won't.

So here is my belly the day before Natalie Marie arrived.

Here is Natalie Marie.
She was born on August 26, 2012.
Time: 4:17am.
Weight: 6 lbs, 14oz.
Height: 19 inches

Here she is now. At 7 months.

Where did the time go?

At the moment I'm training my kids to have the same nap time schedule. Am I crazy? Probably. But having a hour and a half of quiet mommy time sounds heavenly. Chloe (age 2.5) takes naps like a champ. She even requests them once in a while. Now Natalie on the other hand, thinks naps are a waste of time. But we will get the hang of this. Some days are better than others.

Here are both of my girls spending some quality tummy time together.
